Masakatsu Yoshida – President and founder of our association, lecturer at University of Lodz on Faculty of International Relations and Political Studies, lecturer at Lodz Academy of International Studies. Mr. Yoshida is an author of the first origami handbook in Poland. He actively participates in various cultural initiatives in many Polish cities. Mr. Yoshida cooperates with embassy of Japan in Warsaw as a coordinator of Japanese Volunteer Program. For nearly 30 years he take spart in organization of Days of Japanese Culture in Łódź. He was awarded with The Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland in 2002 and with Decoration of merit awarded by City Council of Lodz.
Dariusz Szpakowski – Vice President of association, President of Local Action Group “Polcentrum” which consists of local governments, representatives of local business and non-governmental organizations. Polcentrum operates in municipalities: Domaniewice, Glowno, Ozorkow and Strykow. Mr. Szpakowski is a graduate of University of technology in Lodz and MBA. He takes active part in social lives of local communities in our region. Mr. Szpakowski is enthusiast of Japanese culture and owner of impressive collection of Kakemono scrolls.
Barbara Yoshida graduated from Strzemiński Academy of Art in Łódź. She is a lecturer of Japanese culture and art in Lodz Academy of International Studies. In 2008 she received instructor’s certificate of Suibokuga – Japanese ink painting. She is a on a list of International Suibokuga Association in Tokio. She took part in exhibitions of art in Japan and China.
Jadwiga Mnich – treasurer. Master of Polish literature and retired teacher. She takes active part in realization of various cultural initiatives for children and students. As a member of our association she organizes interesting trips and other initiatives.
Marcin Socha – secretary. Student of University of Lodz – Faculty of International Relations and Political Studies, Vice President of Student’s Association of East Asia and Pacific. As a young researcher he is interested in social and economic issues in East Asia. He is particularly interested in energy policies in Asia and international fight with global warming.
Krystyna Sokół-Wołoszyn – member association board. For many years she has been taking active part in organizing events and cultural initiatives in our association. In private life she is a great enthusiast of Japanese culture, art and a big fan of manga and anime.
Izumi Yoshida – Student at Academy of Acting and Cinematography in Lodz. She is a specialist of movie animations. She popularizes Japanese culture among children and students. She is a laureate of many awards in various competitions concerning art and poetry. She works as a translator of Japanese popular literature into Polish.
Teresa Riemer-Rozmarynowska – graduated from Academy of Technology in Lodz, member of board of directors in University of 3rd Century. She takes active part in initiatives organized by our association.
Anna Szypszak – Graduate of the International Faculty of Engineering at the Technical University of Lodz, one of the key artists in the Organisation, administrator of the Organisation’s website. Also origami and suibokuga fan & artist as well as a great enthusiast of traditional Japanese culture. Currently works as project manager in the telecom area.
